Is Halblingen settled in the universe of J.R.R. Tolkien's “The Lord of the Rings”™ and “The Hobbit”™?
No, not yet. At this point, Halblingen does not belong to the Middle-earth universe and is also not at home in Middle-earth. The village and its inhabitants are in their own world, completely independent of Middle-earth. There is no relationship between the two stories.
However, it cannot be ruled out that there will be a connection at some point. From our point of view, that would be entirely conceivable and would not contradict the concept of Halblingen.
Is Halblingen officially licensed by Middle-earth Enterprises?
No, but that's also planned. Official licensing is currently not possible. The right holders Middle-earth Enterprises only issue licenses to companies under certain conditions, e.g. if they have at least 3 years of existence on the market. Halblingen in particular does not yet meet this requirement. That is why Halblingen is set in a completely separate world with its own background story.
However, we can imagine and it is definitely a goal of ours to belong to the official Middle-earth universe and become a part of this great and diverse world at some point in the future.
